Decided to play around with contrasts, colour and curves to make an already awesome image, even more awesome.

Why Photoshop

So I recently finished my Photoshop Course at City Varsity… and something that happened quite often was people asked me: “Why Photoshop though?”

The answer to that is pretty simple… coz photoshop is AWESOME. You might be a great photographer, but photoshop adds that extra ‘pop’ or takes away things that detract from pictures that other than that would be perfect.. It’s really one of the best programmes ever invented.

One of the SUPERCOOL things I learnt was changing eye colour. It’s something I’ve always wanted to know how to do:

All I want for Christmas!

I’ve been thinking about Christmas gifts for people, and family etc. and then I thought, wait a sec, what about me?

So in case any of you want to buy me something here are some things I love/want: 

Scarves – Solid colours make me happy. 

Accessories – long thin chain with a cute pendant on it? Perfect!

Baking Utensils – anything that will help me further my baking ambitions would be great. 

Stationery – ALL THE STATIONERY IN THE WORLD. OR IN TYPO. 

Decor – Stuff for the flat! Navy, Cream, Red, Turquoise. 

THINGS I DO NOT WANT:

Coal.  

 

City Varsity: Cool things I’ve learnt

I’ve been doing a photoshop short course at City Varsity and this is one of the cooooolest things I’ve learned:

YAY! This is a super basic example but I’ll be doing some really cool ones soon and will post them on here when I do. Photoshop is so fun, and I’m so glad I’m doing this course!

I am SO BUSY

I am so busy, like HECTIC, but I thought I owed y’all a post (I said y’all, which should show you how tired/stressed/zoned out I am right now)

So recently I got the opportunity to do a photo editing course at City Varsity, which I OBVIOUSLY grabbed with both hands.

I was soooo nervous for my first class, thinking “am i too old for this,” “am I ‘cool’ enough” “WHAT IF I’M THE CLASS NOOB?!?!?!”

I worried for nothing, because it’s super chilled. Everyone is “normal” and nice. The

Things I like so far: the lecturer is on top of his games and knows EVERYTHING about photoshop.

every step for each process is explained in and out. and if you forget, it’s not a bad thing, and he will explain to you again – without making you feel like an idiot.

Classes are 2 hours but it feels like it’s only 30 mins. (for smokers, you get a convenient smoke break in between)

lecturer is cool (one of those “schweeeet bru, good job” kinda guys)

Anyway, I’ll be keeping you posted on my learning journey – and will be posting up examples of my AWESOME work soon!
